Technical specifications

COVREX blinds – this advanced technology, extensive research and over 40 years experience in manufacturing of plastic materials in the result. Covrex team has developed and patented a new top with a solid insulation blinds pools. They are more resistant to external influences than standard hollow. Blinds width can be up to 12m. Blinds can be cut by almost any pool shape, and all this will not affect their long-lasting use. Covrex blinds are 100% resistant to hail and frost, so you have to worry about where to put shutters on the outside in the cold pool at the time, addition or uždenginėti pool. This type of covering, even freezeproof to -40 C. Unlike the hollow shutters blinds that will not change its shape even at +100 C.

Insulation

The Covrex® Classic foam filled slats keep the water temperature stable. They offer an incredible insulation coefficient of 0,0821 W/(mk). The Covrex® Classic pool cover enables you to enjoy your pool for a longer time period and to minimise the heat loss during the nighs and during cooler days.

Safety cover

One of Covrex®’s main objectives is maximum safety. Therefore we developped our pool covers based on the French safety standard NF P90-308 concerning pool covers. We fully comply to this standard and exceed it even 7 times on some points. This way our Covrex® pool covers ensure a perfectly safe pool for children and for adults.
You can also equip your pool with safety hooks which increasy safety even more : with this option several adults can walk on the cover without any risk that the cover will tear or break. Hand rails along the pool walls are also available.

Some pool types, like the one piece pools from LPW Ceramic Pools have a safety ledge all around the pools for increased safety.

Anti-algae slats, easy maintenance

The foam filled Covrex® Classic slats are coextruded in one piece with a flexible connection instead of a traditional hinge. Consequently, dirt and algae can’t enter into the hollow compartments. Their smooth surface prevents algae to stick to the slats. This leads to the big advantage of an easy maintenance cover : it can even be cleaned with a pressure washer.

Aesthetics

The Covrex® Classic pool covers are the only ones with foam filled slats, offering an incredible resistance and a perfect finishing, even for curves. For pools with a special form the pool builder is able to cut the slats to the right shape on site. This allows your cover to follow the curves of your pool perfectly.

Thanks to Covrex^® Pool Protection, a traditional cover with a stepped form is now a thing of the past.

Installation methods.

Winding can be mounted on the side of your pool (if your pool is already installed), or you could even 7 underwater installation techniques. Only it should have for the civil works at the pool interior finish.

4 standard pool cover colours

• Cream White (+/- RAL 9001) : This white is often used for indoor pools, it is an off white to make dust almost invisible on the cover. Cream white pool covers match exceptionally well with modern and minimalistic pools that have pure and white coping stones

• Silex Grey (+/- RAL 7032) : this the most widespread colour. Silex grey is the ideal solution for outdoor pools because it conseals perfectly dust and dirt left after bad weather.

• Sky Blue (+/- RAL 5024) : This colour fits well in classic gardens. It is often used in warm countries where the sky is always blue!

• Steel Grey (+/- RAL 7037) : It’s a sober colour that blends well in a more modern, sleek environment.
